CSI Sleepy Town

Action this morning in sleepy town. The blogfriend, Jeff, called this morning to tell me that her mass was canceled because beloved Father Ed was found dead in the rectory kitchen. According to one of the doctors at the scene, the priest had what appeared to be scratches and blood on his body. It was speculated that his dog may have tried to revive the fallen man. A sweet love story. However, the police didn't buy the endearing theory and turned the neighborhood into a crime scene. Father Ed's death is being investigated as a potential homicide. That explains the helicopters swarming sleepy town all morning long. RIP Father Ed.
