The Mac Is Back

Since August 2nd, I've been without my trusty companion.  After a 15-day stay, between two repair facilities, the MacBook is back in my loving arms. I had a complete hard drive failure and, unfortunately, had not backed-up the drive in over three months.  Oh well, lesson learned.   

Morristown Soup Kitchen Needs Cold Casseroles

The soup kitchen is serving approximately 190 people each summer day.  With lots of volunteers on vacation, a request for help came my way this morning.  I'm happy to participate, but... a cold casserole?  A new culinary challenge.

Our newest addition to the family, Amelia was born 8/20/08.  Here's a link to the photo gallery.  Although Amelia has some health challenges, everyone is very optimistic about her joyful life ahead.

Winged Wonder

Mom decided to get some thrills this weekend and joined us for a quick flight to Martha's Vineyard.  Somewhat challenged getting in and out of the Bonanza's tight quarters, Mom settled right in next to the dogs and donned her headset.  She's very proud, and obviously trusting of her pilot son.  Livin' large at 90 something...gotta love it!
